Just over two years ago, on July 20, 2023, around 11:30 p.m., my sister, Jazreanna Sheppard, walked into the Park Street MBTA Station after a long shift at work. She was just 21 years old, full of life and dreams. That night, in the heart of downtown Boston, she was stabbed seven times.
