Living through this pandemic has impacted each of our lives in different ways. Many RCC students have been profoundly affected by the circumstances over the last year and we knew that increasing our wraparound services would help to meet students’ changing needs. In a public health crisis, our student support services needed to include crisis management. 

Although the past year has been exceptionally challenging, there were some silver linings. Our transition to virtual and online learning allowed us to add more flexible learning options to our schedule for the long term

We are pleased to announce that beginning in January 2021, the Reggie Lewis Center will be offering virtual fitness classes to help you stay in shape!

The role of a college’s archives is to tell the stories of students, faculty, and staff throughout time, allowing those who come later to find grounding and inspiration in past triumphs and tribulations. The Roxbury Community College Archives and Special Collections fulfills this responsibility by collecting, preserving, and making available historical materials documenting the history of RCC and Greater Roxbury. In September, the RCC Archives launched a new website to make the stories of our past more accessible.

All RCC students are now engaging in virtual classroom sessions, due to the ongoing pandemic. Many RCC students are preparing for their third semester of learning primarily through virtual and online classes. Although many of them are balancing significant personal and professional responsibilities with their education, they continue to thrive.

At RCC, we take pride in preparing students with the knowledge and skills needed for immediate career success or transfer to four-year schools. RCC offers a suite of health science programs including nursing, radiologic technology, phlebotomy, clinical medical assistant, and medical billing and coding.
