Last Thursday evening, the four candidates vying for the 2nd Suffolk district state Senate seat came together for a virtual forum during which all had an opportunity to lay out their platforms and priorities for the office.

With at-large City Councilors Annissa Essaibi George and Michelle Wu the two finalists in the race for the mayor’s seat, activists and elected officials in the city’s Black, Latino and Asian communities are facing tough decisions on whom and whether to endorse for the Nov. 2 election.

Right to the City Vote Boston, a coalition of community-based organizations led by people of color, threw its weight behind acting Mayor Kim Janey during an endorsement event Saturday morning in Nubian Square.
