Everyday ageism affects health of older adults
Ageism can have profound impacts on an older adult’s physical and mental well-being. Over 82% of adults over the age of 50 say they regularly experience one or more form of everyday ageism on a regular basis, reported the University of Michigan, which surveyed 2,048 adults in a 2019 poll.
