Kamala Harris has five major tasks to perform that will do much to put Joe and her in the Oval Office.

Kamala Harris has already made history as America’s first woman of color on a major party presidential ticket. As Democrats meet this week around smartphones in a virtual convention, the party aims to turn the daughter of a Jamaican father and South Asian mother into the nation’s first female vice president as well. Not to mention the first graduate of a historically Black college — Howard University — to be one heartbeat away from serving as commander in chief.

It was repeatedly said as fact in 2016 and it’s being said again. Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders has a big problem with black voters; namely that he can’t get many of them. Like any other political non-truism that poses as a sacred political truism, it was nonsense then and it is even more nonsensical now.
