Housing has always been a part of the YMCA’s mission.

We offer housing to adults and families looking for clean, safe and affordable place to call home. Affordable housing continues to be one of the biggest challenges facing residents of the North Shore. To meet this need, our Y operates housing facilities in Beverly, Ipswich, Cape Ann and Haverhill, putting a roof over the heads of more than 500 children and adults.

• Lottery applications will be available from Monday, April 1st, 2024 through Saturday, June 1st, 2024. Deadline for applications is Saturday, June 1st, 2024.
• Applications must be submitted in person to 67 Middle Street, Gloucester, MA, by 4PM on Saturday, June 1st, 2024 or mailed and postmarked by Saturday, June 1st, 2024.
• Informational sessions will be held on Friday, April 19th, 2024 and Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 at 11AM. The meeting information will be through Zoom. The Zoom meeting information will be posted on the lottery website www.CapeAnnLottery.com on the day of the meeting. These dates and times are subject to change.
• Selection and placement on the waitlist are done by lottery. The lottery will be held on Monday, June 10th, 2024 at 11AM through Zoom. Zoom information will be provided to applicants who apply to the lottery. Free language assistance is available to all applicants. This date and time are subject to change.
