In February of 2023, 2Life Communities will be opening the Golda Meir House Expansion, 68 new apartments that are connected to our existing Golda Meir House with 199 apartments in Auburndale. The Golda Expansion will have 57 one-bedroom and 11 two-bedroom apartments, including 50 apartments financed with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). The Golda Expansion will be a welcoming community for older adults (62+ years old) of all backgrounds plus nine apartments set-aside for chronically homeless individuals of any age and one apartment for a graduate student “scholars in residence.” 2Life celebrates the diversity of its residents, offering programs that bring the community together.
