Tenants will pay for electricity, which is also used for heat, cooking, and hot water. Water, sewer, and a parking space are included in rent. Pets are permitted, subject to restrictions. Rents for future years are subject to change.
Alexan Waltham is a brand-new rental development located in Waltham. The property will contain 210 total apartments with 53 affordable units that will be rented to households with incomes at or below either 60% or 80% of the area median income through this application process. 14 of the affordable units will be available to households with incomes at or below 60% of the area median income, while the remaining 39 units will be rented to households with incomes at or below 80% of the area median income. Community amenities include a large clubhouse with a resort-style pool and sun deck, a modern fitness center, bike storage, dog park, and pet washing stations. The project will offer residents either surface or covered parking and is a half mile from the Waltham Commuter Rail Station and adjacent to Wayside Walk/Bike Trail. Units are expected to be ready for occupancy in March 2025.
