Invitation to Bid

The Congregational Church of Topsfield, the Awarding Authority, request bids for Steeple Restoration and Exterior Repainting Project at The Congregational Church of Topsfield, 9 East Common St, Topsfield MA 01983.

The project is being partially funded with a grant from the Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund through the Massachusetts Historical Commission. All work must be performed in accordance with the Drawings and Project Manual prepared by Adams & Smith LLC / Finch & Rose 55 Thomas Road, Swampscott, MA 01907, (617) 512-5697 and meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. State law prohibits discrimination. Awarding of the contract is subject to Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity guidelines. A copy of the Drawings and Project Manual may be obtained by calling or writing Robert Hardy, Project Coordinator, The Emerson Center, 9 East Common St., Topsfield MA 01983. A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Congregational Church of Topsfield Meeting House on Main Street Topsfield on November 18, 2021 at 10 AM.

All proposals must be delivered to the Awarding Authority’s Topsfield office at the above address prior to 4:00PM December 2, 2021 to be eligible for consideration.
