Mass. Dept. of Public Health, Jamaica Plain Campus Tower Building Renovation, Jamaica Plain, MA Mass. State Project No. DPH1641 The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through its Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM), requests that qualified and experienced Trade Contractors submit Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications to be received through DCAMM’s E-Bid Room at www.bidexpress.com/businesses/10279/home no later than 12:00 PM, August 18,2021. This project is for the phased renovation of an approximately 208,000 GSF, eight-story plus basement building that contains laboratory, administrative, and research space. Built in the 1970’s, this building is cast-in-place construction with MEP systems that warrant special construction due to the sophistication and complexity of the program and operations housed in the building. The building will remain occupied throughout construction and remain 24/7/365 operational. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A. DCAMM, through its Trade Contractor Prequalification Committee is prequalifying firms interested in providing public Trade Contractor services on this Public Construction Manager at Risk (“CM at Risk”) Project for the construction of Mass. Dept. of Public Health, Jamaica Plain Campus Tower Building Renovation, Jamaica Plain, MA, through this RFQ process. Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications Forms from interested Trade Contractors are sought for the following four (4) categories of work: Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($475,479); Metal Windows ($2,779,942); Resilient Floors – Second Request ($1,234,288); Electrical –Second Request ($19,633,666). Only prequalified firms will be permitted tosubmit bids for the categories of work in which they were prequalified. The Construction Manager is The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.
