REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A BENCHMARK COMPENSATION STUDY

The Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston (“EDIC”) d/b/a Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BPDA”) by its Chief Procurement Officer is issuing a Request For Proposal, hereinafter (“RFP”) in accordance with Massachusetts General Law c. 30B, § 6, as may be amended, from qualified firms to conduct a benchmark compensation study and make recommendations to update our current compensation plan in accordance with the study. The purpose of the project is to review the BPDA’s existing compensation plan as well as to conduct a comprehensive benchmark market study to ensure that all positions within the BPDA are internally equitable and externally competitive. RFP Availability: This RFP will be available starting at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday February 22, 2022 through download from the BPDA’s website Website https://www.bostonplans.org/work-with-us/procurement-portal. Proposal Submission Deadline: All responses to this RFP must be returned no later than 12:00 noon on Friday, April 15, 2022, to: Teresa Polhemus, Secretary, Boston Planning & Development Agency, One City Hall Square, Room 910, Boston, MA 02201-1007. Fee proposals must be submitted under separate cover and in a sealed envelope. Absolutely no responses will be accepted after the due date and time. The resulting contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible respondent meeting the quality requirements, satisfying the minimum threshold criteria and submitting the most advantageous proposal, taking into consideration the comparative evaluation criteria, and the fee proposal. The award of this contract is subject to approval by the Boston Planning & Development Agency and is contingent on availability of funds.
