in the Washington Park Urban Renewal Area, Project No. Mass R-24

The Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”), doing business as the Boston Planning & Development Agency (“BPDA”), along with the Department of Neighborhood Development (“DND”), are soliciting responses to a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for the redevelopment and sale of 11 parcels representing approximately 45,367 square feet of vacant land in the Washington Park Urban Renewal Area, Project No. Mass. R-24, known as 0 Holworthy Street in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston (the “Property”). The BPDA and DND seek to convey the Property for the construction of 23 new units, including three (3) single family homes, two (2) two family homes and eight (8) side by side townhomes. The parcels will be offered through DND’s Neighborhood Homes Initiative and offered in small, medium and larger sized packages so that smaller, locally-based builders and developers will be able to bid for the projects. The Property is being offered as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If concerned about the Property condition, legal or physical access and the maintenance thereof, property lines or boundaries or any other matter affecting the Property, prospective developers should investigate and conduct whatever due diligence and inspection deemed necessary. The RFP package will be available starting Wednesday, December 08, 2021 on the BPDA Procurement Portal at www.bostonplans.org/work-with-us/procurement; if unable to access the RFP package through the BPDA Procurement Portal, contact Jonathan Short, Real Estate Development Officer, at (617) 918-6234 or via email to: jonathan.short@boston.gov in order to make alternative arrangements. Completed proposal applications must be submitted as instructed and returned directly to the BPDA, 22 Drydock Avenue, 2nd Floor, South Boston, MA, 02210 by 12:00 PM on February 08, 2022. Late proposals will not be accepted.
