BID ADVERTISEMENT

The Brooke Charter School, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Brooke Charter School Parking Lot Improvements Project, in accordance with the documents prepared by Joyce Consulting Group, Braintree, Massachusetts.

The project consists of: Removal of asphalt paving, re-grading, removal of existing sidewalk & curb-cut, new curb-cut (reuse granite curbing), new sidewalk @ new & existing curb-cut, new asphalt paving, drainage swale and retention area at the Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA 02131.

The total construction work is estimated to cost $220,000.

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 30, Section 39M and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c. 149, Section 26-27H inclusive.

Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount and made payable to Brooke Charter Schools.

All Bids should be submitted electronically online at www.biddocsonline.com .

Bids to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 and publicly opened, forthwith online.

Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available: Nashoba Blue, Inc. at 433 Main Street, Hudson, MA 01749 or online at www.BidDocsOnline.com (may be viewed electronically and hardcopy requested) on Wednesday, May 04, 2022 after 2:00 p.m.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid conference and site visit will be held at Brooke Charter School, 190 Cummings Highway, Roslindale, MA on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a walk through.

There is a plan deposit of $ 50/set (refundable, maximum of 2 sets) payable to BidDocs Online Inc. Deposits may be electronically paid or must be a certified or cashier’s check. Mailing fee is $40/set (non-fundable) for UPS Ground, payable to Bid Docs Online Inc. (electronically or certified or cashier’s check). THIS PROJECT IS BEING ELECTRONICALLY BID, NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
