SOLICITATION FOR: Owner’s Representative Services for RL/OL/GLT
Capital Transformation Projects
MBTA CONTRACT NO. R19PS05

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Professional Services for Owners Representative Services. The Scope of Service(s) shall comply with the requirements of Part I, Title III Chapter 30, Section 30M1/2 of the General Laws of Massachusetts. The conceptual level cost estimate for services is $4,668,113.21. The duration of this contract will be Five (5) years.

The primary disciplines involved in this contract include, but are not limited to:

  1. Oversight of the project office management of construction projects in excess of $50 million.
  2. Peer review of all designs – Structural, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, HVAC, Cost estimating, etc.
  3. Cost Recovery,
  4. Value Engineering,
  5. Oversight of all construction activities,
  6. Participation in meetings with other oversight entities, such as PMOC and DRB.

This project is expected to utilize non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 0% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
