The City of Boston Age Strong Commission/Area Agency on Aging Region VI invites all interested agencies serving Boston’s older adults to submit proposals for:

Title III-C Nutrition, Bid event EV00009244
Title III-E Family Caregiver Support Services, Bid event EV00009245

The purpose of the funding is to support a comprehensive health and social service system for Boston’s older adults by ensuring good service, effective programming, and quality care.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be made available at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 on the City’s purchasing website and Supplier Portal, www.boston.gov/procurement, and will be available until the proposal deadline. An optional Virtual Bidder’s Conference for Title III C and III E will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 on the Virtual Meeting Platform, Zoom, which can be accessed through this link: https://zoom.us/j/96974549555?pwd=cmZHSlBobWVNSVVnejdrSENqTC9PUT09 or by phone using the following information: +1-312-626-6799 Meeting ID: 969 7454 9555 Passcode: 357777. All interested parties may attend the Virtual Bidders’ Conference. Note that the Bidders’ Conference and application materials will be available in English. Completed proposals must be submitted via the Supplier Portal or to the Area Agency on Aging no later than 12:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2021. All agencies will be notified of funding decisions by Tuesday, August 3, 2021 for start-up on Friday, October 1, 2021.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part or parts thereof, and to issue a contract as the Official deems to be in the best interests of the City. This contract/award shall be subject to the availability of an appropriation therefore. If sufficient funds are not appropriated for the contract/award in any fiscal year, the Official may cancel the contract. The issuing of this contract/award shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor of Boston.
