Notice of Closing of the Federal Public Housing Waiting List for All Bedroom Sizes Falmouth Housing Authority

Effective, July 31, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.

The Falmouth Housing Authority (FHA) will CLOSE its Public Housing Authority List for All Bedroom Sizes and locations: Harborview Apartments – All one bedrooms (115, Scranton Ave, Falmouth, MA 02540); Tataket Apartments – All one bedrooms (138 Teaticket Hwy, East Falmouth, MA 02536); and Rose Morin Apartments – All one bedrooms (58 Rose Morin Lane, Falmouth, MA 02540). No applications will be accepted for the federal public housing bedroom sizes as noted above. Public Notice will be provided when FHA re-opens the Waiting List for the specific bedroom sizes. HUD regulations do not require a public hearing when opening and closing the Waiting List. Therefore, public notice will be provided as stated in the prevailing Admissions & Continuing Occupancy Policy (ACOP), which is also online at www.falmouthhousing.org . This document contains information about the federal housing program, including the waiting list process and all preferences are considered at time of application and update during the waiting period. Questions may be directed via email to: brichards@falmouthhousing.org . The waiting list will routinely closed when the anticipated waiting time exceeds 36 months. The current anticipated wait is over three (3) years.
