FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR
OCE/ASSET MANAGEMENT IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT

MBTA CONTRACT NUMBERS Z94PS12 THROUGH Z94PS18
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Asset Management Implementation Support Professional Services. The Scope of Services may include but are not limited to:

a. Serve as the Asset Management agent, when tasked to do so, managing the EAM implementation on MBTA’s behalf
b. Development and implementation of Asset Management processes and standards
c. Development and implementation of Work Management processes and standards
d. Inventory & Condition Assessments of Systemwide Assets
e. Asset Data Collection for current and future Capital Programs
f. Capital Needs Assessment and Transit Asset Management Plan (TAMP) updates
g. Annual Reporting for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and National Transit Database (NTD)
h. Serve as Asset Management, Reliability Engineering, and Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) Subject Matter Expert
i. Staff augmentation as required
j. Other GEC Services as may be assigned

The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis. The MBTA will award up to seven (7) Contracts. The duration of each Contract will be three (3) years, with two (2) option periods of one (1) year each.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is twenty percent (20%) of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
