MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SOLICITATION FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING (GEC) SERVICES FOR COST ESTIMATING, SCHEDULING, RISK ANALYSIS, CONSTRUCTABILITY, VALUE ENGINEERING, AND CHANGE ORDER REVIEW TASK ORDER CONTRACTS. MBTA CONTRACT NUMBERS Z91PS63, Z91PS64, Z91PS65, and Z91PS66

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Constructability, Value Engineering Services, and Change Order Review for General Engineering Consulting (GEC) Services. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: Multi-discipline engineering for Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Constructability, Value Engineering, and Change Order Review. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis by phase. The duration of each contract will be three (3) years from Notice to Proceed.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 22% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants, and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
