MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SOLICITATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE SERVICES FOR TASK ORDERS

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

MBTA Contract Nos. ENVPS05-09

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting consulting services for the Environmental Management Department for Task Orders. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: responding to and managing environmental compliance matters system-wide including but not limited to; Professional Engineering Services in the development and updating of permit applications, SPCC and SWPPP plans, sampling, monitoring and disposition of all media, hazardous materials surveys, development of abatement plans, all aspects of compliance with MCP, training, UST/AST compliance, storm water management, auditing, engineering services to address non-compliance matters at facilities. The scope of services will be authorized on a task order basis by phase. The cost for the proposed contracts are $2,000,000. The duration of this contract will be three (3) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 20% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
