MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SOLICITATION FOR GENERAL ENGINEERING CONSULTANT SERVICE FOR COMMISSIONING AGENT SERVICES

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

MBTA CONTRACT NO. Z91PS61-62

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting an independent third party to provide both Fundamental and Enhanced Commissioning for GEC Commissioning Agent Services.

The selected Commissioning Agent duties will include but not be limited to overseeing the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of all components, materials, and systems to aid the MBTA in finalizing construction in any MBTA-owned facility. The value of each contract is not to exceed $1,000,000.00. The scope of services will be authorized on a task basis by phase. The duration of this contract will be five (5) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 0% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
