Electronic Bids submitted in the format furnished by the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) and clearly identified as a bid will be received through DCAMM’s E-Bid Room at www.bidexpress.com/businesses/10279/home no later than the date and time specified and will forthwith be publicly opened remotely by DCAMM Bid Room personnel and read aloud over a conference call line. Access Control System Upgrades in Certain State Facilities, Boston, Chelsea, Springfield, and Pittsfield, MA.
The following Filed Sub-Bid: Electrical.
E.C.C: $2,419,146.35
This project is scheduled for 290 calendar days to substantial completion. The scope includes upgrades/modifications to Electronic Access Control Systems in the following DCAMM buildings: McCormack Building, Charles F. Hurley Building, MITC Building, Pittsfield State Office Building, Springfield
Data Center, and Springfield State Office Building.
A Pre-Bid meeting will be held over three days: March 1, 2022 at 9 AM, at the McCormack Building, One Ashburton Place, Boston, MA, with the Charles F. Hurley Building to follow; March 2, 2022 at 9 AM at the MITC Building, 200 Arlington Street, Chelsea, MA; March 3, 2022 at 9 AM at the Pittsfield State Office Building, 333 East Street, Pittsfield, MA, followed by 11:30 at the Springfield State Office Building, 436 Dwight Street, Springfield, MA, and 12:30 at the Springfield Data Center, 53 Elliot Street, Springfield, MA.
Minimum rates of wages to be paid on the project have been determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor Standards. These rates are incorporated into the bid documents.
