PROPOSED MODIFICATION TO THE SOUTH END URBAN RENEWAL PLAN, PROJECT NO. MASS. R-56, FOR PARCELs X-30A, X-30A-1, X-30B, X-30C, and X-30D. A MODIFICATION IS ALSO PROPOSED FOR THE CAMPUS HIGH SCHOOL URBAN RENEWAL AREA, PROJECT NO. MASS. R-129 WITH RESPECT TO PARCELS X-35, X-35-1, AND X-36 COMBINED THESE PARCELS ARE LOCATED AT 1130 TREMONT STREET, 175-177 RUGGLES STREET, 0 TREMONT STREET, 0 MELNEA CASS BLVD, AND 0 ST. FRANCIS DE SALES COURT, THESE ARE THE PARCELS OF LAND WHICH MAKE UP THE “CRESCENT PARCELS”; IN THE SOUTH END AND LOWER ROXBURY NEIGHBORHOOD, BOSTON

Public Notice is hereby given that the Boston Redevelopment Authority (“BRA”) d/b/a the Boston Planning & Development Agency will consider at its scheduled meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2022, starting at 3:30 P.M., via Zoom, which meeting is viewable at this link: bit.ly/3gvuysr a proposed modification to the South End Urban Renewal Plan, Project No. Mass R-56 regarding Parcels X-30A, X-30A-1, X-30B, X-30C, and X-30D, and in the Campus High School Urban Renewal Area, Project No. Mass. R-129 regarding Parcels X-35. X-35-1 and X-36. These parcels are located at 1130 Tremont Street, 175-177 Ruggles Street, 0 Tremont Street, 0 Melnea Cass Boulevard, and 0 St. Francis de Sales Court, in the South End/Lower Roxbury Neighborhood. The proposed modification is for a change in use to include “Institutional, Community, Open Space, Residential and Commercial Uses” as allowable land uses. This Public Notice is being provided in accordance with a certain “Conciliation Agreement” by and among the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the BRA, and others, dated as of January 16, 2001.
