Project Description:

The project consists of moderate rehabilitation of three (3) buildings in Boston, a total of 72 units. The building addresses are as follows:

  1. 50-60 Camden Street
  2. 15-35 Brandon Harris Way
  3. 575-585 Shawmut Ave.

The work consists of asbestos abatement, selective demolition, masonry, metal railings, carpentry, new windows and doors, drywall, painting, resilient flooring, new kitchen cabinets, appliances, plumbing, heating and ventilating and electrical systems.

Items to note:
This project is subject to Massachusetts prevailing wage rates.

  1. Sales Tax is applicable.
  2. Boston Plan and Section 3 Hiring requirements shall be enforced.
  3. MBE requirement is sixty (60%) percent and ten (10%) percent for WBE.

Drawings and specifications can be accessed at John B. Cruz Construction Co., Inc. “Basecamp.”

Drawings are also available for viewing at our office, One John Eliot Square, Roxbury, MA.

Sub-bids are due August 17, 2018, end of business day.
