MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
SOLICITATION FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR BLUE HILL AVENUE TRANSIT CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting Design and Construction Phase Services for The Blue Hill Avenue Transit Corridor Improvements. The Scope of Service(s) may include but is not limited to: designing infrastructure improvements related to bus lanes and stations, bus stop accessibility, roadway and traffic signal engineering and general bus corridor improvements. The conceptual level construction cost estimate for the proposed improvements is $35,000,000. The duration of this contract will be four (4) years.
This project is expected to utilize Federal and non-federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 20% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
