MASSACHUSETTS BAY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY SOLICITATION FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE ASHMONT TRACK REPLACEMENT PROJECT
MBTA CONTRACT NO T49PS01

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting architectural and engineering services for design, bid phase, and construction phase services for track rehabilitation on the Ashmont Branch. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to: a rehabilitation of the existing track configuration, including the track design, special track work, civil, structural, traction power, communication, electrical, and environmental . The conceptual level design cost estimate for the proposed services is $3,375,235.75. The duration of this contract will be four (4) years.

This project is expected to utilize Federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is 20% of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants and suppliers in all of its contracting opportunities.
