Amend “Map 6A/6B/6C, Roxbury Neighborhood District”

ZONING HEARING

The Zoning Commission of the City of Boston hereby gives notice, in accordance with Chapter 665 of the Acts of 1956, as amended, that a virtual public hearing will be held on December 11, 2024, at 9:00 A.M., in connection with Text Amendment Application No. 528 and Map Amendment Application Nos. 790, filed by the City of Boston Planning Department.

Said map amendment would amend “Map 6A/6B/6C, Roxbury Neighborhood District,” by changing the existing zoning of several parcels of land from “MFR”, indicating a Multifamily Residential subdistrict to “Newmarket IDA”, indicating the Newmarket Industrial Development Area in the northwest portion of the Boston Water and Sewer Commission (“BWSC”) Lots (parcel IDs: 0801878010, 0801854010, 0801843000, 0801844000, 0801845000, 0801846000, 0801847000, 0801848000, 0801849000, 0801850000, 0801851000, 0801852000, and 0801853000) and make all the BWSC Lots eligible for Planned Development Areas. Said text amendment would amend Article 50 (Roxbury Neighborhood District), specifically Sections 50-12 (Establishment of Area Within Which Planned Development Areas May be Permitted) and 50-14 (Planned Development Areas: Use and Dimensional Regulations) to allow these parcels to be Planned Development Area eligible.
