Beloved Sister and Friend

Rachel AnnMarie Prentice, born on March 22, 1985, in Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on September 26, 2023, in Ocala, Florida. Rachel was a beloved sister, daughter, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Rachel grew up in Boston, where she developed a deep love for her community and its vibrant culture. She pursued her education with passion and dedication, always striving to make a positive impact on those around her.

Her journey eventually led her to Ocala, Florida, where she continued to spread her light and love. Tragically, Rachel's life was cut short due to domestic violence. Her family and friends are heartbroken by this senseless loss and are committed to raising awareness about domestic violence.

Rachel is survived by her loving family, Grace Ejiwale (sister), Erica Ejiwale (sister), and Sharon Prentice (mother) who will forever cherish her memory. Her compassion, strength, and love are a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A Memorial service will be held privately to celebrate Rachel's life. Details will be shared with close family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rachel's honor to deaf/hard-of-hearing communities and domestic violence shelters, reflecting her spirit of giving and community support.

Rachel AnnMarie Prentice will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
