- Nancy Lee Callender was born April 18, 1951 in Brookline, Massachusetts. Nancy was the mother of Laurisa Claytor-Cadman and son George Roger Freeman, III. She was a devoted loving Nanny to Assata Claytor, Jourdan Freeman and Jarrell Freeman and great-grandmother to Knox Carter. She will be remembered by her sisters Shelley Bynoe-Simpson and Lana Andrews, and several nieces and nephews, cousins Jeanette, Cynthia, Charlotte, Marlene and Charles as well as countless friends she made on her journey.
