Janie Cerica Whiteside of Boston, passed away on May 9, 2018 with family and close friends surrounding her.

 

Hers was a spirit of incredible sweetness and she was always an unfailingly kind person whose generosity and willingness to help made her beloved by all who knew her. Janie is survived by her daughter Cerica Horton Hightower; and is the treasured sister of Barbara Whiteside-Hinkson, Donald Whiteside and Dana Whiteside and the daughter of the late Daisy (Spencer) Whiteside and the late Reverend Samuel Whiteside.

 

A memorial service celebrating Janie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00am at Emmanuel Church (15 Newbury Street, Boston MA)
