While still working at  the  daycare center, she enrolled in Wheelock College Social Worker program. Gloria received  her BSW in 1987. Still  being an adventurous person and still having  the passion for knowledge, she enrolled in Boston College Master of  Social Work program.  She graduated from  Boston College with a MSW degree. Her work path sent her on several social service agencies missions--Italian Home for  Children, Family Services of Greater Boston, Peabody Properties and Boston Housing Authority and a few more.

Gloria leaves behind one sister, Dorothy of Boston, brother, Charles lives in Detroit; one niece ,Tanya TX,  4 nephews Jonathan(Boston), Carlos, Marco, and Jamal( CA). She also leaves  behind 2 aunts and one uncle and many cousins and  friends.
