Beloved Elder of Roxbury

Eddie M. Drayton, Jr. of Roxbury, popularly known as “Twister,” peacefully departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2020. He was the beloved son of the late Eddie and Maggie (Lewis) Drayton; brother of Ora Lee McCray, Marilyn Taylor, and the late Matthew “Poppa Ray” Drayton; widower of Deborah (Williams) Drayton; father of Linda, Eddie, Marshall, Yvonne and Carol; and companion of Helen Ford of Cambridge. He leaves to mourn him a host of loving family members related to the surname Drayton, Lewis and Haynes and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 17 at Davis Funeral Home, 654 Cummins Highway, Mattapan 02126. Visitation and viewing will be held at 10 a.m.
