Always loving, always loved

James departed this world on October 30, 2019, at the age of 36.  Born in London and raised in Dorchester MA, he leaves an adoring family.  He was devoted to his wife Maminka and their children Zavier, Makayla, Taniyah, and Jordan.

He will be dearly missed by his parents Charles and Ernestine Fenton.  In addition, James leaves his sister Julia (Asher) of London, and their children Shemi and Shemika, and great-niece and great-nephew India Marie and Thiago.  James was the beloved grandson of Jane Ann Simon of Antigua.

James loved life no matter what he was going through, and always had a considerate thought or a joke to share.  He was a real family man, growing from a sweet boy to a grown man, responsible, nurturing and romantic.  A favorite thing James enjoyed was traveling to Antigua and London to visit family, and being part of the ‘gang.’

James’s family wishes to thank everybody who took care of him when he needed it.  In particular, they are most grateful to Auntie Maude for always being there and supporting him.

Viewing and service will be on Saturday, November 16 at 11 am, at All Saints Church, 209 Ashmont St., Dorchester MA, followed by burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St., Dorchester Center, 02124
