More than 100 guests attended the 3rd Annual Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen Kentucky Derby event held at the restaurant on May 3rd. The Hat Competition generated great excitement First place winner, Edna Jackson of Jamaica Plain received a roaring applause for her beautiful rhinestone adorned salmon color hat. Guests enjoyed traditional Mint Juleps, the official Kentucky Derby drink and Bourban Bulleit Smash, and the best bourbon wings this side of the Mason Dixie Line!
More than 100 guests attended the 3rd Annual Darryl's Corner Bar & Kitchen Kentucky Derby event held at the restaurant on May 3rd. The Hat Competition generated great excitement. Judges included Jessen Fitzpatrick, owner of Salmagundi Hat Store in JP, Jose Masso, Host/Producer 'iCon Salsa' WBUR90.9 FM and Shellee Mendes, owner of Salon Monet on Newbury Street, Boston, and, Jodi Wolin, Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy. Guests enjoyed traditional Mint Juleps, the official Kentucky Derby drink and Bourban Bulleit Smash, and the best bourbon wings this side of the Mason Dixie Line!
