Boston Scenes 5-10-18: The Massachusetts Women!
The Massachusetts Women’s Political Caucus and 300 Guests Celebrated four Good Guys and one of many Good Companies at it’s 17th Annual Good Guys Awards held recently at the Omni Parker House Hotel. The MWPC led by Roxbury native Gail Jackson-Blount endorses and works to help get women elected to political office and public policy positions in Massachusetts. The Good Guys Awards are held each year to recognize and thank men who work towards gender parity and the advancement of women in politics and business.
This year’s honorees are: Josh Bekenstein, Co-founder of Bain & Company, John Cruz, CEO of Cruz Companies, Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy, III, Ed Palleschi, Deputy Chief of Boards and Commissions in Governor Baker’s Office, and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care with its Inaugural Corporate Champion Award!
Proceeds raised at this event help fund education and training programs sponsored by the MWPC Education Fund.
