Boston Scenes 11-15-18: IBA celebrates 50 years
On Saturday, Nov. 3, Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA) celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute. The largest Latina-led nonprofit in Greater Boston and originally founded by Puerto Rican activists in the fight against displacement in the South End, IBA has had a monumental impact in the areas of housing, education, youth development, economic opportunity and the arts throughout Greater Boston.
