Author, poet and playwright Jabari Asim, head of the creative writing program at Emerson College, will discuss his book of essays, We Can’t Breathe: On Black Lives, White Lies, and the Art of Survival at the West Roxbury Branch Library. Copies of Asim’s books for children and adults will be available for purchase at the event.
