We Speak Now: Race & Enslavement at the First Church in Roxbury

Join us for a virtual presentation of “Race & Enslavement at the First Church in Roxbury”. Guests include the report’s author, Aabid Allibhai, and historian Byron Rushing.

This report tells the story of at least fifty-eight human beings—Black and Indigenous men, women, and children— who were enslaved by First Church’s white parishioners.  The event will also offer time for Q&A.

Find all event information, including the Zoom link, on the UU Urban Ministry’s website HERE.

This is a virtual event and all who are interested are welcome to join!
