Unity for the Community 2023

Please join us as we joyfully celebrate 93 years of Unity for the Community on Saturday May 13, 2023, in the heart of Boston at the oldest city park in the United States at the newly unveiled “Embrace” monument.

The monument of two D9 members is symbolic and representative of “love” for all people. All are welcome to this gathering as we, the “Divine Nine”, will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King on our anniversary weekend by displaying to the general public who we are, while partnering with the NAACP Boston branch and Embrace Boston after collectively participating in the Walk for Babies. In true D9 fashion, we will showcase that which binds us all: Community Service, African Arts, & Black Traditions. This will be displayed in song, step, stroll, service…………
