Twist & Shout! An Evening of Dance, Spoken Word & Music

Twist & Shout! An Evening of Dance, Music and Spoken Word is our annual benefit to support our youth programs. The benefit will be held at the Virginia Wimberly Theatre – Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. This year we are thrilled to be honoring Jose Mateo, Founder & Artistic Director of Jose Mateo Ballet Theater; Janine Busby, Boston Police Department; Liz Miranda, Community Activist; and David Howse, Vice President of the Office of the Arts and Artistic Director for ArtsEmerson.  The evening will also feature youth from our Professional Dance Division performing new and returning works by Shaumba-Yandje Dibinga, Muadi B. Dibinga, Britney Wilkerson and alumni Demetrius Burns.
