Boston’s Dance Urban ‘Step with Me Weekend’ 2019

Ms. Sonia is at it again, hosting her second ‘Step With Me’ Campaign with learn to Step, Chicago-style workshops for beginners, novice and experienced steppers and the Ultimate, first Gala of the Fall Season–The Steppers Gala.  The event is happening North of Boston this year in Waltham, MA where Midwest meets East Coast on the dance floor and the classroom with guest instructors and DJs: Iary Israel, St Louis, MO,  DJ Calvin Haynes, Chicago, IL, Choc James, Cleveland, OH, DJ Stretch Alex, Memphis, TN.  Steppin is popping on the East Coast from PA to MA with NY guest instructors, Dolores Brunner, NYC, Michele Green,  Brooklyn, NY, plus Boston’s own MixMaster Rudy Dottin, and Urban Nites/NE SouL hostess Ms. Sonia, of Waltham, MA. The Weekend begins Friday, Oct 4, 9pm with the Opening steppers party at Embassy Suites Hotel Waltham, optional dress code is Leather & Lace, dressy casual.  The Saturday workshop day begins  10am to 4pm with Steppin Etiquette class which is  Complimentary to interested dancers and fellow steppers.  Immediately followed by Steppin 101, Men’s Combination Bootcamp, Classy Ladies Steppin, Turns & Technique to So You Think You Can Step.  The Saturday night opens with Cocktail Reception 7pm – 8pm, Steppers Set, 9pm – 1am., Dress to Impress, Theme Colors are: Black, Silver or Gold. The Stepper’s Set includes a Silent Auction for New England Sports Lovers, Great Music, Special Entertainment and Steppers from near and far joining our local steppers from Greater Boston areas. Meet us Sunday, at the Rhino Lounge & Restaurant, 11 Cooper St, Waltham, MA for a Private Farewell Set 12Noon – 5pm.
