Roxbury Unity Parade Pesents A Caravan for Sarah-Ann Shaw

Sarah-Ann Shaw became Boston’s first female African American reporter in 1969. Through the years, Sarah-Ann Shaw has been presented with many awards and recognition, including the 2018 Roxbury Unity Parade Lifetime Achievement Award. This caravan of love will be made up of people who know, love, and adore her. This act of love and appreciation is from her community. Join the procession as we ride through Roxbury and pass her home where Sarah-Ann will be seated on her porch to receive the love we will shower on her this day.
