Roxbury Unity Parade 2024

The Roxbury Unity Parade is Boston’s official parade for the neighborhood of Roxbury. Founded by Roxbury native Toy Burton, the parade honors and celebrates the history, culture, and community spirit of Roxbury. Once a predominantly Black neighborhood, Roxbury holds a significant place in Boston’s cultural landscape. The Roxbury Unity Parade not only showcases the neighborhood’s rich heritage but also recognizes and awards businesses and individuals who make daily contributions to uplifting Roxbury.

The agenda:

10:00 am – The Block Party

10:00 am – Empowerment Resource Fair

Noon – Opening Award Ceremony

1:00 pm – Parade steps off

Parade route: Leave Malcolm X BLVD, right on Guild Row, right on Washing Street, left on Dale Street, left on Walnut Ave, Left on Warren Street, left on Washington Street, right onto Roxbury Street, back to Madison Park Technical Vocational High School.

until 5:00 pm – HoodFest (Live entertainment)
