“On Justice and the African Mask” public conversation

The Museum of The National Center of Afro-American Artists invites you to a public conversation “On Justice and the African Mask” at The Judge, a monumental sculpture by Vusumuzi Maduna in front of The Roxbury District Courthouse (85 Warren Street. Boston, MA 02119) at 1pm on Saturday, October 26th.

Questions to think about! Who is our judge? To whom are we accountable? Some would answer “the ancestors.” Two scholars of African heritage will lead the conversation on this important cultural topic while focusing on an artistic gem in our community and the artist who created it. Come share your thoughts at the reception which follows at the Roxbury Boys and Girls Club.

All are welcome to this free and public event!
