Majestic Sounds – A Commonwealth Chorale Concert

This, our final concert of the season, is one not to be missed. It showcases our classical roots and celebrates the one who developed and fine-tuned them over the last 44 years.

Music Director David Carrier is retiring and this is his magnificent finish: Joseph Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis (Lord Nelson Mass) and Bach’s Cantata 140 (Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme), also known as Awake, a voice is calling. Carrier will conduct orchestra, chorus, and soloists: soprano Dana Varga, mezzo-soprano Vera Savage, tenor Matthew Anderson, and baritone Junhan Choi. This will be a concert to lift the spirit, certain to inspire joy and hope to the listener.

Please join us at the Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury.

Ticket price is $25.  Free tickets at the door are available to EBT holders.
