How to start our own “Village” in Dorchester

On Monday, May 14th at 6:00 please join the Elderly Commission and Dorchester residents at the First Parish Church, 10 Parish Street in Dorchester for a panel discussion on creating a “Village” in Dorchester. The Village model, pioneered by Beacon Hill Village in Boston, was created to help neighbors work together to create resources and opportunities for leading vibrant, active and healthy lives as they grow older in their own homes. Panelists include Beacon Hill Village, JP at Home, Groton Neighbors and discussion will be facilitated by staff from the Bowdoin Street Health Center. Light refreshments will be served.
