Equity is part of the building blocks of resilience and sustainability. We cannot afford to be bystanders to decisions that are made in our names. The continuing pandemic will require us to be more humane, kinder, and more thoughtful in every way. There can be no celebration of a new year if we are not requiring that a cohesive system (healtheducation, housing, transportation, roads, employment, and protection of open space) be built that encourages strategies that do not displace current residents, protecting natural areas, and facilitating connections to the surrounding communities. This is is our Boston; please join us in moving forward as a community.

Peace.
