Join us on Tuesday, May 25th from 7:30-8:30pm for a FREE, VIRTUAL conversation with best-selling author Ta-Nehisi Coates. This is part of the Cambridge Public Library Foundation’s Voices for Justice series, which focuses on racial and social justice and seeks to spark important dialogue in our community.
Ta-Nehisi Coates is an author, journalist, screenwriter, executive producer and professor. He is the author of the bestselling books The Beautiful Struggle, We Were Eight Years in Power, The Water Dancer, and Between the World and Me, which won the National Book Award in 2015. Between The World And Me was adapted for the stage and premiered at the iconic Apollo Theater in 2018. It was also adapted for film and aired on HBO in 2020. Coates is the current author of the Marvel comic Captain America and has been tapped to write the Superman screenplay for movie for Warner Bros. Pictures.
