Fate and Faith

Commonwealth Chorale’s March concert explores fate and faith through the richly expressive music of Johannes Brahms’s Schicksalslied, Felix Mendelssohn’s Psalm 42, and Fanny Hensel’s Lobgesang. Brahms and Mendelssohn are two of the 19th Century’s best known composers. But for the social mores of her day, Mendelssohn’s sister Fanny Hensel would likely be as well known.

Join us, soprano Dana Lynne Varga, and a professional orchestra to enjoy this glorious music. Tickets are $40 ($10 for students; ID needed 14 and up) and are available at the door or through CommonwealthChorale.com/tickets. Admission is free for EBT/WIC card holders.
