Join the Black Gold Doll Club of New England  for a Unique Two-Part Workshop!

Part 1: Black History Through the Eyes of Dolls

Discover notable Black figures from Boston and New England through dolls and books. Learn research techniques and create a personalized doll journal or timeline.

Part 2: Genealogy and Dolls – Connecting Our Stories

Learn to trace your family history with Joyce Stamps, Outreach Coordinator from the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society-NE. Use library resources and hands-on materials to build your family tree and uncover personal links to Black history.

Participants will receive a Doll or Genealogy Folder and Tote Bag  with exclusive resources. Enjoy surprises, interactive games, and a celebration of African American heritage!
