Edupreneurs of Color Symposium
Are you a Black or Latinx educator/community member in the Greater Boston area? Do you currently own a small business and/or non-profit organization? Are you interested in learning how to start or further improve your business?
If your response is YES, then this is the event for YOU!!
The mission of the Edupreneurs of Color Symposium is to highlight and amplify Black & Latinx educators and community members in the Greater Boston area who are small business owners and/or are engaging in projects that are making a positive impact beyond their classrooms. This event will also serve as an opportunity for educators and community members who are looking to give back to our community and learn valuable lessons about the importance of entrepreneurship and the necessary steps they need to build a successful small business and/or a non-profit organization.
Given that this is a grassroots effort born from the minds of concerned educators and community members who are seeking innovative ways to help revitalize our community and create a cycle of generational wealth that will combat the issues of gentrification and income inequality, we are calling for the community to come out and asking support this cause! Our information sessions will cover such topics as the following:
Introduction to Entrepreneurship
Book Writing & Publishing
Website Development
Marketing & Advertising
Work-Life Balance
FOOD AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED
